Hi Shane,
First, a Windows 3.1 machine?? Second, it is a known problem that FPW2.6 will crash on machines 266 or faster... Apparently FPW can't handle the newer processor speeds.
>I have a client that is attempting to install my program on a new machine. It is Pentium with Windows 3.1, I am not sure what speed. The program gives a FoxProW error and then a GPF on execution. I thought that a call the the Foxtools.fll or a call to another DLL might be causing the problem so I whipped up a little program that has 3 buttons and a few text messages to diagnose the problem. This little program also gives a GPF when it is first executed. Any ideas? Could the Foxpro ESL file be corrupt? Is there any compatabillity problems with network drivers or tape drives or something that I have not heard of? I am really stumped.
