There was an article in the travel section of the New York Times last Sunday focusing "affordable" hotels in London. They were in the range of 150-200 USD/night. Which is not so bad, I guess, to spend time in one of the greatest cities in the world. I have been around a bit and there are four cities I truly love: London, Auckland, Denver, and San Francisco.
