No problems that I know of with minimizing/maximizing screen. Just the VFP bug with undocking bottom docked toolbars. More info towards the end of the article in http://www.goyanet.com.ar/vfp/ctl32_statusbar/ (Last Comments)

If you just want it as a basic replacement of the native statusbar, no properties need to be set.

Are you using VFP 9?
