>After the trailer from last week showing scenes from next week, I think I can safely talk a little more about what I read before.
>
>The extremely intense scene that I heard is coming up revolves around Vito's phone call to Meadow seen near the end of the coming next week trailer.

>>I'm also, hopefully correctly, assuming that this is all building to something. I've read several interviews with Chase and he talked about making sure all the characters get their comeupence, so he doesn't end up glamorizing their livestyle too much.
>>
>>I was hoping when things started to fall apart when Tony was in the hospital was going to lead to something. But that tract wrapped up quickly, although it did set up Vito.
>>
>>And it also seems things got good between NY and NJ too easy.
>>
>>I agree, the "peace" between NY and NJ is just too contrived. There's just no real tension like there was in the past. Remember all the conflict between Tony and Richie Aprile? Those were the good old days.
>>
>>The Vito thing was just plain silly. In Season 1, that would have been fodder for one episode, with a swift whack at the end. But now, it's just an excuse for every stupid anti-gay joke known to man.
>>
>>Tonight I watched the final episode from Season 1 ("I Dream of Jeanie Cusimano"). Seems like a million years ago. Back then, it was funny when they wanted it to be funny. Now it's just sad. (aside from any Meadow scenes ;) )
The one thing you always have to remember about Sopranos trailers is that they are not only unindicative of what is to come, they are usually downright misleading. It's a game they play.
