>The VFP 9 solutions samples include a sample under Foundation Classes to explore the use of the MSAgent animated characters. Somewhere in this sample the project loads an INCLUDE file named _agent.h.

Oooh. A blast from the past! <g>

It is defined in the form. Open the form in design mode - don't run it, just click on the icon on the right of the Task Pane Manager entry for MSAgent. With the form open, Go to VFP's main menu and select Form/Include File

>Also, if anyone is familiar with using these characters, the listbox in the sample is supposed to show the animation actions that are available for each character, but fails with an error stating the AnimationNames are not found. This works fine on my second PC but not on my main PC.

Haven't used it in years. The sample works fine in my PC - just tested (only Merlin is installed here at work - the rest are here).
