You're definitely on the right track! Based on this thread, I have modified the KMoverObj class by moving the code that processes a "new" and "deleted" Select List item to their own methods...which will make it easy to override the default KMoverObj behavior.
I will send the code to your personal e-mail so you can check it out and kick the tires a bit.
