Codage, syntaxe et commandes
You're right - it does take patience.
And I still type the "TO" in many things, giving me frustration for sure. And it periodically gets in the way when editing a statement.
But why wouldn't I live without it?...
The main reason for me is that it reminds me of clauses/parameters/PEMs that I have forgotten are available for a command/function/control.
Also, it usually displays the bit value meanings, which I find most useful.
I don't know if it's related to Intellisense or not, but I also like that descriptions I type into Methods show up as a tooltip when I hover over the dropdown item in the code window.
Similarly, apparently randomly, I get field definitions appearing when I hover over field names in (some?) lists.
I've found myself typing full PEM 'paths' to get the savings of Intellisense, then going back and inserting a "WITH... / ENDWITH" and deleting the 'path'.

>Ever since it was included with VFP (and with every new version) I have tried using Intellisense, but end-up switching it off in my VFP startup program. Maybe I have not been patient enough with it, but on balance I have found it more a hinderance than a help when it suggests 'helpful' code, especially in the command window.
