I've mostly used ODBC to read from ACCPAC, although occasionally I'll do mass updates like changing a lookup code. For adding records, I recommend using the import feature because ACCPAC may be doing things behind the scenes (checking data validity, duplicate checking, or other business rules) that your code wouldn't do.
