What version of VFP do you have? I remember this happening to me in the past. My memory is that it was a bug in VFP 5.0 that was fixed in 5.0a, but I'm not sure of that. I looked for the bug in the MS knowledge base, but didn't find it. I may not have been searching for the right keywords though. If you have VFP 5.0 but not build 415 (find out by typing ?VERSION() in the command window), I highly recommend ordering or downloading service pack 3 from http:/www.microsoft.com/vstudio/sp.
