>I went to a small private college in Iowa, and there was a community college about a half hour away. When we would play them in basketball, the chants got pretty creative. We were the spoiled little rich kids, and they were the thugs.

That one must be pretty widespread, with variations. When I was at NU the football program was long before its renaissance. The team lost something like 30 straight games and was a popular homecoming opponent. One of the cheers, when the team was down by six touchdowns to Ohio State or Michigan and it wasn't even the 4th quarter yet, was "That's all right, that's OK, you're going to work for us some day!"
