Yeah, I guess if you're in the Navy or Airforce there's no point having you unless you get a skill (even if it's just preparing 2,000 breakfasts on an aircraft carrier) - no point in just having square-bashing grunts in the airforce - they usually get electronices and comm's skills etc.. I suppose I was thinking about the army more. Not everyone gets to be the guy in the tent with the earphones on.
