I have only been through Arizona during the summer. Once it was only 119 in the shade. I found no shade though! :)

If we're not on the Florida coast in the middle of hurricane season, then we're in middle of the desert the hottest part of the entire year! Ever been Phoenix in the middle of summer like that? It doesn't even get below 90 degrees AT NIGHT!
