I found out the current form is using another form as a parent form.
I cannot change the grid on the child form because it is owned by the parent.

I'll have to find another way besides removing the object, because the views need to change between forms and the view on the child form cannot include some fields from the parent grid. therein lies my problem. I could reverse the views, but it would entail a lot of code changes.
