I've posted this before but once in a Chinese "Chippie" (Fish & Chip shop) I was asked
"You wan' sore finger on your chi'?"
Of course it was "You want salt and vinegear on your chips?" (remember that chips over here are what Americans call "fries" (although they're different animals entirely).
