How does one synchronize the mmNavigationToolBar (or a set of navigation controls based upon New DataBindings) with DataGridView data. In both scenarios, they are based upon data from the same dataset and datamember and the data is based upon a childobject dataset. In the latter case, the navigation controls will iterate over the correct number of records but the DataGridView is not synchronized.

If I change the registry of the parent NavControl to this child DataGridView, the NavControl synchronizes with this DataGridView. However, I cannot register the mmNavigationToolBar with a DataGridView.

Also, I don't want to add a direct connection to the database on the UI so I need to use data from the child object's DataSet.

Any ideas?
