>Framework development is a daunting endeavor--most homegrown attempts fail miserably. I was involved with a company that got stung pretty badly by one of those attempts. The framework failed so badly that the production software ground to a halt, bringing the company to its knees. I was brought in to implement Mere Mortals and get things back on track again. We did, rather quickly. Insofar as commercial frameworks are concerned, MM is one of the lighter ones, but since Oakleaf went over to C#, it seems they don't support Visual FoxPro anymore. I've been told that's not true, but it's been years since the last version release.
Hey James,
Have you used the MM .net framework? If so, what do you think of it? They used to have an eval version.. I don't know what happened to that.
