>>>119 is not uncommon at all that time of year. No matter what, it's gonna be well over 100 and probably over 110 EVERY day. When I go to conventions and such I like to spend a few extra days around the city and look around - maybe goto a nearby national or state park or something. This is just stupid though - you're not going to be able to do ANYTHING other that hide

I did my 4-5 years in Phoenix back in the 80's.

HOT, how do you describe HOT?

1) Can't walk barefoot across the driveway to the mail.
2) Turning the key "ON" in your car burns your fingers.
3) Pool water isn't comfortable past mid June.
4) Can't grab the steering wheel of your car when you first get in it.
5) You only know that your sweating because your elbow joint, or your eyelids are somewhat cool because of evaporation.
6) Everyplace has a mister set up to cool you outdoors.
