As Cetin says, download the tools.

Then get some books. <s> MUCH has been written about this, far more than can ever be explained in a single message here. Heck, even the stuff in the help file can be pretty ... ummm ... helpful.

If you bump into something that isn't working for you, that's a good time to ask here.
