It all depends on your personal attitude. For me leaving in a big city is definitely more attractive than living in the suburb. I was talking with one nice lady the other day about this and she also told me that she loves living in the big city.
I love Kew Gardens despite it's crowded (tried to create a noun of it and failed) and not clean.
I also loved living in Boston near Cleveland Circle (much less than we lived in a dull West Roxbury).
I liked Columbus, it's very neat, quiet, not expensive city, but it's not for me...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
