Is the class on a network drive or your local drive? If it's located on the network drive, it's possible the your network OS has a lock on it.
I've run into problems before where I open a DBF file on a network drive (we're running Novell), run into some error, shut down the system and reboot, and can't use the DBF because the network still has it locked. If the vcx in question is located on the network, you might want to have someone check to make sure your server doesn't have a lock on it.
>I did a clear all, closed VFP, even rebooted the machine. No use. It still says that the class is in use by MODIFY CLASS. No one else is using it.
