What was the name of the property you added? Did you assign it a value on the property sheet and what value did you give it? There are some things that you can type into the property sheet that royally hose VFP.

With the examples Naomi gave you you may need to edit the Properties memo for the problematic class to work around this problem. It may end up being as simple as changing the line to:
TheNewlyAddedProperty = 0
>I added a new property to a class, and it added fine. I closed out of foxpro and came back in later, and it says that the class is in use by MODIFYCLASS. I know it shouldn't be, but appears that a lock/hold is still on in the project. Any ideas how to fix this?
