This has fustrated me for years. Is there something out there that you can drop into a grid that will make entering formatted numbers look correct as you are entering them? I use this in text boxes all the time, but I can't drop it into a grid. I usually enter all data in fields outside the grid, but this project requires I enter the numbers in a grid. I want the numbers to be formatted as an accounting field, i.e.: 99,999,999.99 and it should enter from the right like a calculator and only enter cents if the period (.) is pressed. It seems like a simple thing to do, but I don't want to spend a lot of time programming this if someone has already done it!
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Colombo.
