this is becasue as I said the load fires much before any of the controls inits

..). I think that you can add a Data Environment class, too. The data enviroment class must be defined in a prog (no vcxs for DE class.... snif). Check the Griver "CodeBook" or the "Visual Fox Unleashed" from SAMS, where all this is explained and used....
