Ah, but I'm just a hacker at heart. I've been playing around with the various FoxPro files (SCX, PJX, FRX, etc.) for years, and wrote quite a bit of code to manipulate these. Knowing the structure, what's kept in there, etc. I think has helped me understand the product (and to some degree how it works). So I don't look at it as a waste either in terms of time or money. I haven't yet look into the DBC, but believe me, I will.
