is the message similar to "windows is configuring Microsoft Office" ? If so, insert the correct cd it is asking for (probably Office 2K) and let it do its thing. Then it should never ask you again. This ocurred for us with VFP9 once or twice and for some reason loading missing files from the MSFT Office cd fixed it. It was only on one or two installs though that it ever ocurred. Are you using Activex controls? Perhaps something is missing from your install or a related file which is missing...
