>I had two documents: Refugee Travel Document with Israel visa (which I used for Israel) and my Russian passport with Egypt visa, which I used for Egypt. AFAIK it's very hard and dangerous to go to Egypt with Israeli passport.
First time I visited Egypt, back in the late 80s, at the Valley of the Kings I met some young Israeli archeologists who were thrilled in that being the first year that Israelis were welcome to Egypt (was this just after the Sinai was "given back" to Egypt?). Can you imagine it? Some of the most exciting, famous and glamorous of the world's antiquities that had been closed to them for all their lives. I didn't know that a visa was difficult for Jews; for us it's just a few postage stamps that are hurriedly slapped on our passports at the entrance airport.
