Yes I am using VMP (not VMF) :) and its n-tier stuff. I have not got to the part of compiling into DLLs and using XML for data exchange between the layers yet as my front end is VFP, middle tier is VFP and backend can be VFP or SQL Server, but from the documentation it is possible.
