I have tried every possible combination mentioned by you and even more (contacting the CITRIX support here in Australia). The application recompiled into VFP 8 works without any issues!!!! I think this is a report engine bug..may be, but yes if you happen to think of something else, please do let me have your feedback. Thanks for your precious input once again.
