I've seen this a couple of times before in VFP8 SP1. I guess it is an obscure bug that occurs in
certain circumstances. I have not been able to reproduce it.

What you can try to do is open up the VCX look up the record for the class (LOCATE FOR objectname = "myclass") and change the class and baseclass in that record.
