>as far as i know you have to do a rebuild of it, funny thing is though, if you want to cut emmissions, for nct tests etc, from a diesel engine a little bit of petrol in the tank actually helps!

In the winter too, it can help the engine turn over by adding a bit of kerosene or gasoline to the diesel. Keeps it from gelling from the cold as easily.
