I've seen all sorts of funky behavior in grid's scrollbar. Especially if you have a filter (don't forget, SET DELETED ON and deleted records are an implicit filter).
>I have a simple grid control with AllowCellSelection set to False.
>
>The underlying record source is a cursor with 6 records. My grid is sized to display 10 records at once. There are no linked child tables. Optimize is set to False.
>
>When I select the first record in my grid, my vertical scrollbar clears - no thumb displayed. This is what I would expect when the number of records in my grid is less than the visible display area of the grid.
>
>When I navigate to any other record within my 6 record cursor, the vertical scrollbar fills with a thumb element as tall as my scrollbar. If I click on the scrollbar's gian thumb, BAM!, the giant thumb disappears and no thumb is displayed (i.e. the scrollbar refreshes itself to its proper appearance).

>Any suggestions on how I can force my grid's vertical scrollbar to properly repaint itself? Perhaps a windows repaint message?
>
>Curious if anyone else has seen this behavior.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
