You didn't really say that is what you were using in your first post. Actually I have not specifically run any tests with CAs or RVs on tables with identities on the backend. Most of our code here is SPT based and in the case of identities that is always managed inside a stored proc. I may be able to do some playing with this over the weekend. Which version of VFP are you using?
