Hi Guys,

We are currently experiencing downtime on our database when reindexing tables. Our database has voluminous transactions daily and as of today, the size of our database is almost 40GB. Before, we do redindexing of tables every Sunday night to ensure the speed of our application. The renindexing takes up almost 8 to 12 hours to finish which is not good for our 24/7 operations. Now we tried defraging the index every Sunday and have them reindex every month. The problem with defraging is that it causes our application to perform too slow.

Do you have any other suggestion?
