Right again.

As much as there is to love about VFP, the only reason I have for re-writing in VFP is all the legacy procedural code (accounting, payroll, inventory, CRM) all proprietary. No browses, No "Power Tools", even all the Reports and Invoicing is done with @say print engine. There is also some 500 Tables. My first thought was Delphi with Advantage Database or Apollo, seems more Desktop Oriented, and maybe faster, then eventually if need be .NET with C#. BTW, I purchased McNeish's Mere Mortals Framework for .NET and vistaDB, but haven't gotten much further than setup and some basic "lets try this", and then there,s Hentzenwerks (great books) every time I'm about to jump ship they bring out the next work and draw me back in.

Really appreciate your thoughts......
