All these things can be done with a bit of work, You'll need to get familiar with BeforeRowColumnChange, AfterRowColumnChange, AllowAddNew, and understanding relative row addressing. Anothe way to go, is to continue using the old style browse with your custom code and integrate it with new stuff. You can do this to get the app up and running and work on making it a grid later, if needed.
