I did not check your original question, the program was too long for me to look at it, but, commenting on this one, last Friday I was about to write a function to do exactly this (I already have PathToUNC) but I realized that eventhough it is possible to do the conversion, you might have more than one mapping to the same UNC, and for I did not know what to do in that case, I did not write it <g> (Although it might not even be important!)
