Hi Brenda,

What version of Word are you using? I have word98 and it gived me the option of MS Foxpro tables. And then it connects fine with ODBC. Do you have vfp ODBC or oledb installed on your computer?

>>>I am trying to do a Word Mail Merge with a VFP .dbf free table as my data source. I select dBase files (there is no VFP option) as my data source file type. The merge will not work if the .dbf has a date field. I am assuming that there is a compatibility problem between dBase and VFP dates. Does anyone know how I can create a dBase compatible date in VFP?
