I have a question. I am using a SSIS package to import data from a SQL database to a Foxpro database. I an using the VFPOLEDB.1 provider for my data connection.

The problem I run into is with the Update statement. If my memo string is over 254 character. I've been looking around and couldn't find anything relative, but I assume this is a common problem. I can view the Update statement fine in a messagebox so I know all the characters are there.

Here is an example

"Update test set memo = 'Over 254 characters minimum' "
