Can't you prepare your text in, say, Word, using cyrillics, then cut & paste, or attach your Word doc?

Anyway, if they're going to be fussy and awkward, sod them and let them be deprived of your sagacity. It's not as if you NEED them, and I'm sure this resource is a lot more informative than that.
