Listboxes may have only 3 different colors - for SelectedItem, disabled item, and all other items in the list. Good description of the ListBox control you can find for example in "Microsoft Pros Talk Visual FoxPro 3". You can have more different colors for the records in the Grid control, if you are using Column.DynamicBackColor property (check also other Dynamic... properties)
