>>>>>>>Let me see, if I'm running a terrorist org, how am I going to infiltrate the US? Hmmmm, I know, Mexican border is wide open! Duh!
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>
>>>>>>What you said is it has already happened. Not hearing any confirmation there.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>The fact is we have immense miles of border on all four sides, not to mention those who fly in. The Mexican border is not the only place we are vulnerable. I still don't see this as a national security issue, not unless we want to zip all the borders up tight.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>An old buddy is xenophobic to the max. Years ago, long before it was fashionable, he was calling for a wall on the Mexican border, another one on the Canadian border, and gunboats lined up 10 deep on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. "You want us, come and get us!" he said.
>>>>>
>>>>>Well, I disagree. I believe the Mexican border is a tremendous security breach because of the drug and human slavery trafficing and the terrorists. Having been in the trenches with the drug war, I think we should put up miniguns on the border with motion detectors and shoot anything that strays into the kill zone. But that's just my softer side coming through!<g>
>>>>
>>>>There is nothing like Claymoore mines, concertina wire and John Wayne with a 50-caliber machine gun to defend us from the bad guys! Electrify the Rio Grande. Build parallel walls along the border and put alligators in between. Have satellites scan the border and zap anyone in the area. Better warn the Minutemen. :)
>>>
>>>Remember the miniguns they had in the first Alien? That's what I'm talking about. The same gun was used in Predator I to cut down a good bit of dense forest while trying to kill the Predator. I'm thinking it could work!<g>

>>You would think that Gov Arnold could at least protect Cale forn ea! :)

>Between the Governator, Clint Eastwood, and Chuck Norris, it would be a foolish terrorist indeed who chose CA as a beachhead. Kapow!

>Actually I have a good friend in your general area who has known Clint since she was a girl. Her dad was friends with him going back to the Dirty Harry days. She says the squinty stare and hard guy act in his movies are just that, acting. She says he is the nicest guy you could possibly want to meet. From things she has told me about him I have to agree.

Katy and I have known Clint for almost 40 years. We were both born at Saint Francis Hospital in San Francisco, but different years! :) We go down to his Mision Ranch Inn in Carmel for Sunday Brunch (with a good jazz group playing in the background) and often see him there. He is a great person and very cordial. Another thing I like about Clint is that he is a very positive person.
