Yes you could, but you must run the report twice to do that:
lnTotalPages = 0
REPORT FORM ... TO MyFile.TXT NOCONSOLE NODIALOG
lnTotalPages = _pageno
REPORT FORM ... TO PRINTER PROMPT PREVIEW
And use
lnTotalPages to show total number of pages in that report.
