In project manager, you have a way to set the codepage for each .prg (and other dbf-like files like scx have their native codepages recognized already), so you can as well set them to your DOS codepage. VFP9 will then compile them in that codepage.

FPD2.6 should have the codepage in the table headers as well. You can also Compile ... as {codepage here}, but that'll affect the fxp files only, not the project manager. You can also set cpcompile.
