I thought (from viewing the history on other threads) that the goal was to star the resolution. That was the resolution. There are many times when developers will provide ideas but the initiator of the thread actually resolves the issue so they have the ability to star any of the threads. That way when you do a search you can pinpoint the message that the initiator of the thread considers to be the best resolution (or the one he/she used anyway).
If it bothers you I will remove it.
