A few days ago, I read a disturbing short story by
Dan Simmons, a SF/horror writer with several books to his credit.
Then, today, this from
Canada's National Post:
Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims.With any luck we will be spared the fate outlined in Simmon's tale, but I fear the Islamists want exactly what he depicts.
