During the last few weeks, I have been exchanging emails with Microsoft representatives about the desire to obtain proper procedures in trying to op more MVPs into the Microsoft program from the Universal Thread .NET forum. This also applies for renewals. Based on some recommendations by Ed Hickey and Yair Alan Griver, which have helped me a lot in this process by providing great suggestions, as the owner of the Universal Thread, I will send regular full detailed emails about recommendations.

Tonight, I sent my first one. What I sent was a great report resuming the profile of the member on the Universal Thread, including the contributions and articles on the Level Extreme .NET Magazine, when applicable, as well as other related content in the Universal Thread.

One of my goals is to help individuals to obtain and keep their MVP status based on their impressive contributions on the Universal Thread. The Universal Thread is a highly specialized technical support engine and with our help, it will make it easy for Microsoft MVP program representatives to better select those individuals that are spending a lot of time here to help other members.

When I make a recommendation, I also CC the individual. FYI

But, keep in mind that this is not restricted to me. Anyone can volunteer to do this as well to nominate Universal Thread members or other ones on the .NET. Anyone interested can also help me in this process by emailing me.

The Universal Thread is a great place to obtain technical support for .NET. As for me, without it, I wouldn't have been able to reach that fast the current accomplishment I have done in my .NET projects and products. It is important that regular contributors are recognized at one of the highest levels as possible, which is the Microsoft MVP program status.
