I haven't had the problem, and a quick check of the KB doesn't show that specific error. You might check the setup32.stf to see what "Object 9" is in your case. You say you have successfully distributed before - also in VFP 5.0a? To check it isn't a problem with a file the wizard created, I would first delete the netsetup directory or wherever you put the distributed files. Then get rid of dkcontrol.dbf and .cdx, as well as wzsetup.ini from your distribution tree. Delete the distrib (NOT the distrib.src) folder under wherever you have vfp installed. Fox will recreate this folder and contents the next time setup is run. be careful about entering any unusual characters in any of the setupo wizard dialogs. This is just my general approach to setup wizard problems anyway, hope this helps.
