I don't think with...endwith and DO really have much to do with each other. With...Endwith just makes fox treat objects references that begin with a period as if they began with the parameter given to the with command. Whether it is done in a DO loop of any kind, outside of one, or half in one, doesn't seem to make any difference.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your meaning a bit here - if he wants to combine these functions he may be looking for something like FOR EACH...ENDFOR.
