I see what you mean, you use Property and Command Window as Dockable... Well, I do it too, but I have 2 monitors and enough real estate so it was never a problem to me, I did not notice it, only after your comment I tried to figure out what could be happening. If I were You, I would not use dockable windows with so few real state, but I am not and my suggestion won't solve your problem <g>.
