>Nathaniel expects to work summers; he likes a comfortable lifestyle, and knows he needs to earn some of the money that goes in his pocket. This summer, he'll be a counselor at the camp he went to for 6 years. He'll be teaching a capella singing, improv, and soccer. Perfect for him.
I was a camp counselor for 5 years, at 3 different camps, long, long ago. 2 years at camps that catered to kids from fairly well-to-do families - financially anyway - and 3 years at a camp for the mentally challanged. You can make more money painting houses, or doing yard work, but I wouldn't have traded any of those experiences for something as transient as money.
